Interview: My Favourite Things

Q1. What’s your all-time favourite series? Westworld, especially the first two seasons. I love the character of Teddy, and the tension between the Man in Black and Dolores.

Q2. What’s your all-time favourite film?The Place Beyond the Pines. The emotional pull of the middle act is palpable.

Q3. What’s your favourite album or artist? Holy Holy — Port Rd. has a big part of my heart. The moment that hits me is the drop before “and we just keep on breathing.”

Q4. What’s your favourite meal or dish? My potato and leek soup, or bolognese — both with lots of garlic.

Q5. What’s your favourite place? Wilsons Prom. I love sitting on Whale Rock.

Q6. What’s your favourite way to spend a completely free day? Having a cigarette, a Red Bull, and Jägermeister… or eight.

Q7. What’s your favourite book (or the first one that really mattered)?Stormbreaker — the first book I ever read as a kid.

Q8. What’s your favourite hobby or pure enjoyment? Smoking cigarettes, probably.

Q9. Is there any other favourite thing that feels important? I love the smell of Billie Eilish’s Intense perfume. Even on men.

Q10. Do you have a preference in romantic partners/specific genders? I’m interested in everything. I haven’t tried everything, but I am attracted to both men and women and everything in between as long as long as there is an established emotional connection. I am Pan-Sexual with a slight preference for cisgendered women.

Q11. Do you have a daily spiritual practice? No, I do not. However, that may change as I have before.
